  • August 21st, 2006: Met with Ashland Parks Commission
  • August 23rd, 2006: Submittal to Ashland Planning Department
  • October 25, 2006: Met with Conservation Commission
  • November 9th, 2006: Met with Tree Commission
  • November 14th, 2006: Presented to Planning Commission
  • July 10, 2007: Presented updated plan to Planning Commission
  • August 28, 2007: Granted Approval from Planning Commission
  • November 20th, 2007: Granted Approval from City Council
  • March 26th, 2008: Gained Approval from Jackson County
  • December 2008: Finalized the land exchange with the City of Ashland and donated the land to RVCDC for Rice Park
  • January 25, 2009: Final Plan approval from the City of Ashland for Phase I
  • June 22, 2009: Ground breaking for Rice Park
  • As soon as funding is secured: Work on Final Plan for Phase II, design homes for phase II. The cottage lots and Phase II lots will be available at the same time -- as soon as the infrastructure is complete.
