Rice Park - Affordable Housing
As part of the Verde Village plan, 1.37 acres of land was donated to the Rogue Valley Community Development Corporation (RVCDC) for Rice Park. The RVCDC will build 15 homes which will incorporate all the energy efficient construction practices used in the main Verde Village homes. These 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom homes will be available for purchase with low-interest loans to income-qualifying individuals through RVCDC's Mutual Self Help Housing program.
Phase I (eight homes) is now under construction. Applications are being taken for Phase II.
